James Sheath
James is an experienced solicitor in the Company and Commercial team, working closely with businesses to manage their legal requirements. He advises on a range of corporate and commercial matters from buying and selling businesses, to drafting shareholders’ agreements, terms and conditions and other key contracts. As an intellectual property specialist, James helps clients protect and maximise the value of their ideas, brands and innovations. He regularly supports businesses operating in the technology sector, where he advises on the legal implications of emerging technologies and development in AI, to help clients stay ahead in a rapidly evolving landscape.
James began his career at Acumen Law as a legal administrative assistant and has progressed to become an experienced commercial solicitor. This journey has given him an understanding of the challenges businesses face at every level and he takes pride in providing clear, commercially focused advice that helps his clients move forward with confidence.
