Our Business Academy on Selling your Business

The first of 2017’s ACUMEN BUSINESS ACADEMY learning and networking sessions, again a full house, saw attendees enjoy networking over drinks before taking their seats for the workshop presentation.

This January session entitled ‘Preparing your Business for Sale… even if you’re not selling’ covered five main points essential to a successful sale. They are the key matters which are overlooked or not utilised and only really drawn to the business owners attention when preparing the company for sale or during the due diligence stage (when it’s too late!). This proved to be a very popular topic.

The room was full of attentive business professionals gaining essential knowledge from Commercial Solicitor experts at Acumen. The presentation set out the key factors to be aware of when considering sale of a business as well as preparing a business for a successful sale in the future and really maximising its full potential by using business law in their favour. In the questions section which opened the room for discussion, the delegates were able to air their questions, concerns and expand on the matters relating to their businesses.

With the room still buzzing everyone continued their discussions over drinks and rounded off the session with some lively networking.

The Academy which is held at Acumen’s Gatwick Office offers specialist expertise on a variety of topics. There are interactive sections so there is every chance to solve your queries, discuss points of interest and of course that all important chance to network with like minded professionals.
